Outdoor Fence For Your Cat

Can the invisible pet systems that fence cats really work? You bet they can! That is why we have a dog and cat featured on our Contain-A-Pet Electronic Fence web pages.

Contain-A-Pet is actively embracing its electric fence technology to contain cats. We have many cats on our fences. And it looks like we will be fencing many more cats in the near future with our underground containment systems.
Cats are independent thinkers. Training them is definitely not like training our canine friends. We currently have three methods we use to fence train cats.
The absolute best training method utilizes a harness. Believe it or not, many cats can and do wear harnesses. It is not that hard to train a cat to accept the harness. Consistency and positive rewards (treats) are the key.

Are you interested in giving your cat more freedom? Contact your local Contain-A-Pet dealer and let them discuss training in more detail.

More freedom, less worry, and hopefully a less finicky cat can be on your horizon. :)
